"We had 60 showings in 4 days with 19+ offers submitted."

With the guidance of Mark Brace, Scott and Kristin Davison sold their 1930s starter home with an upside of $97K, three and a half years after their original purchase.

Read the Davison's story about their experience with the Brace Homes Team and what advice they have for you.

Scott and Kristin Davison purchased their cute starter home as a couple back in 2015.  While they loved their home they were planning on expanding their family and needed more space. To get the ball rolling, they reached out to Mark and decided to start looking for a new home in January of 2019. During an unexpected "polar vortex"  in Grand Rapids, Mark suggested they use the downtime to hunt for a new place. Unexpectedly they found their new home that day and were able to submit an offer prior to the seller's open house.

Now that they had found their second home they turned their focus to selling their first home under Mark's advisement.

Why Mark Brace?

Scott's brother had bought his first home with Mark and during the search for the Davison's first home, they were personally referred to Mark. Scott described Mark as someone who never pressures or oversteps when helping his clients select a certain home for purchase. Mark provides the tools and the client remains in control of their own buying experience. He communicates in a very timely manner and never makes the client feel as if they are ever on the backburner. Their family has done three separate transactions with Mark: the purchase of their first home in 2015, the sale of the same home in 2019 and the purchase of their current home in 2019.

"I don't know if there is a way we could have executed any of our transactions any better than we did."

What Stuck Out To You?

The sale and purchase of the Davison's two homes in 2019 went smoothly and faster than they anticipated. Upon purchasing their second home they turned around and sold their first home less than two months later!

How Was Mark Brace Different?

Mark advised their family to list their home in March. Due to the weather in Grand Rapids, buyers start looking for homes in March, while most sellers wait till after spring break to list their homes. With the direct advisement to avoid the upcoming competition, they decided to list earlier than expected. Mark walked their home and told them exactly what to focus on before listing. He shared his expert staging advice room by room, even down to the minor details. Mark also provided their trusted professional photographer to take beautiful listing photos. Those of which were used to attract buyers digitally.
